YOU'LL HAVE A VARIETY OF FUN & WOOLLY OPTIONS WHEN YOU REGISTER:
We'll mail out some some memorable, thematic prizes to all registered participants who log their vertical miles by April 19.
As with all of our FUNdraising trail races, all proceeds go to local Northwest trails. Which means you can feel doubly good about your registration fees and any additional donations you make being put to good use. [It also means we'll give you bonus virtual high-fives of gratitude every vertical kilometer you climb.]
WHY APEX ARIES?
Matt is an Aries, and wanted to run 24 hours of vertical for his birthday [April 11] — which felt like a peak Aries thing to do. So we thought, why not expand the (Type II) fun?
LEAVE NO TRACE
In addition to being tough and F-U-N, our races are also always low-impact. You won't find any paper products at any of our events, and we avidly support local businesses, which means prizes and awesome aid are frequently sourced locally (and as sustainably as possible). We aim to have less than ONE bag of trash for every race weekend, and in all our years directing Endless Trails events, that's a goal we proudly hit every year.
If you're not already an old pro at LNT, please familiarize yourself with Leave No Trace principles and take only pictures/leave only footprints as you're scheming and completing your virtual challenge.

YOU'LL HAVE A VARIETY OF FUN & WOOLLY OPTIONS WHEN YOU REGISTER:
- 2 hours of vert: Ovis Aries (Domesticated Sheep)
- 3 hours of vert: Ovis Gmelini (Mouflon)
- 4 hours of vert: Ovis Ammon (Argali Mountain Sheep)
- 6 hours of vert: Ovis Dalli (Dall Sheep)
- 9 hours of vert: Ovis Vignei (Urial)
- 12 hours of vert: Ovis Nivicola (Snow Sheep)
- 24 hours of vert: Ovis Canadensis (Bighorn Sheep)
- ALL OF THE ABOVE: 60 hours total between 7 distinct challenges
